Cambridge-based biotech: Developing Global Commercial & Medical Affairs IT Roadmaps

A $1BN+ market-cap, publicly traded integrated global oncology company focused on transforming the lives of cancer patients with breakthrough medicines. Celero has helped develop a multi-year IT roadmap to ensure IT systems are ready to support the launch of a new product that has the opportunity to double the size of the organization. We undertook a rapid diagnostic of the current state of commercial business practices and IT systems and co-created a vision for the organization’s future state. Gaps were identified in business process and opportunities for business improvement were agreed. Through facilitation of commercial leadership, priorities for business change and IT systems were established, providing an aligned view of IT investments on a multi-year roadmap. The scope of activities under review included targeting & alignment, performance reporting, CRM, customer master data management, collaboration, digital presence & capabilities. Celero continues to support this organization with the implementation of the commercial roadmap and has extended the roadmap to include Medical Affairs.


Mid-size pharma: Designing & building an IT solution to help to stay of the competition.

A $3BN revenue pharmaceutical company doing pioneering research in pain wants to ensure they remain ahead of the competition in serving the needs of their customers. Celero has helped design and develop a solution to ensure the organization retains their leadership position in the market by staying one step ahead of the competition. Through facilitated design sessions, we created a purpose-built competitive intelligence solution to enable the organization to collaborate on information gathered from journals, media, conferences, and other sources. As information is gathered, the organization continually creates and tests hypotheses that inform strategic choices. The solution is integrated with existing IT systems - such as Oracle, Outlook, and Single Sign On.


US biotech in pre-launch phase: Building Commercial IT Capabilities From A to Z.

This emerging biotech is a science-driven company focused on developing new therapeutics for patients with osteoporosis, as well as other serious diseases. In preparation for launch of their first specialty product, the company needed to build its entire commercial infrastructure. Celero was contracted to develop the IT strategy & design for commercial solutions that would enable rapid and cost-effective deployment of several hundred sales reps. Deliverables included the creation of a multi-year roadmap & budget for the commercial portfolio – including plans for selecting and implementing commercial IT solutions and services.
